Here Egos Again

There's a voice in my head who 
claims to be me

He reassures me every day he's me

I think he may be gaslighting me!

Vanity

I whisper into the wind
carry my thoughts to 
the world's end

Waiting for a reply
but no one heard 
the call

Falling into the sea
spills words 

Murmurations breathe
Exhale into the clouds

You'll find me there by 
the shredded wisps of 
cirrus 

Floating above my
self-conceitment
