Let new wounds heal and old scars fade. Grasp hold of the sheath and put away the blade.

Showing yourself compassion and having self-forgiveness is a huge part of the healing process. As well as showing compassion and forgiveness to others.
Though others may have caused us pain or the pain was self-inflicted. It’s important to show forgiveness.
Bit by bit look inwards and find parts of yourself to forgive, that ‘self-doubt’, those feelings of ‘im not worthy’. That little voice in the background that constantly berates you, forgive it.
What you find within yourself, you will see in others. Those dark shadows that stretch behind us all when the light is shone upon our person.
Let that light shine and show you the path towards forgiveness and compassion.
