Waiting Room

Am I dreaming that I'm awake?
A linear narrative that could be our mistake?

Dreaming of limitations,
Impossible lies and permutations

Invented physics,
Preposterous statistics

A conjured reality, 
Living a life of triviality

Mental abnormality
An immortal deluding it has mortality?

Is this all just a massive trip?
A nurological momentary blip?

Has my sanity just given me the slip?!

Dreaming your Awake

Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness
We do it every day in our heads

Conversation starts the moment you wake up

Then when we dream we circumnavigate our subconscious

We don't question it's reality

When I open my eyes I feel nauseous

Try to lift my body and move my feet forward

First steps are always clumsy and awkward

All I want to do is promptly get to the toilet

My arms are so heavy need to get to the kettle and boil it

Wake up and smell the coffee

After the 2nd cup I'll feel less groggy

Vision returns to normal, no longer foggy

Have some breakfast then sit and meditate

Focus is sharp now, no time to hesitate...

But wait... ...

Another cup of coffee to get me going

Now I've just realised I've forgot my clothing 

I turn on the shower to reinvigorate my power

Get dressed try to tidy up the mess

Wash the dishes

Locate my daily wishes

Still trying to figure out what my career is...?
