Picking up The Pieces

Shattered illusions

Fictional world collapses

Behold the fragments

Splintered thought process

Sees many facets displayed

A bug-eyed vision

Faded clarity

Drifting out of wakefulness

Asleep whilst dreaming

Carefully crafted

Each breathe invites more presence

Light up the candles

Empty corridor 

Silence between the echoes 

Keep the voice on mute

Inside the silence 

Just choose what you want to think 

Jump in the cockpit

Be the pilot of your mind

Watch yourself flying the plane

We are energy

An infinite power source

Soul bleeds through the light

The wake between sleep

The vase is empty yet full

That's inside and out

Dissecting my thoughts

Just to check I'm not insane

Word is on the street

Agitated cat

Hairs stand on end from the threat

It's ready to pounce

Suspicious looking object

Turns out to be a tissue
