Agony

I am being afflicted with the excruciating agony of a dental abscess at the moment, I thought one way to deal with it is to write a short poem about it. At least helped take my mind off the pain for short while, and so here it is…

An abscess has taken hold of my nerves, holding me hostage with the pain it serves. 

The torment keeps me awake untill first light, this torture is unbearable can't bear anymore tonight.

I've tried ice-packs and painkillers but there's no relief from this horrid grief, no escape from this grotesque mischief. 

I'm in agony and in deep need of pain-free harmony, close this pain gate and bring me to the nearest pharmacy.
